The 75ha vineyard is planted in Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
For its size, the site offers dazzling complexity – from riverbeds all the way to slopes that face an array of different orientations.
The Slopes vineyard fruits are grown on the flats and north-facing slopes across a range of soils. Made up of windblown and friable silt loam with clay loam and loess beneath, these soils are typical low-vigour soils. The x-factor of the north-facing slopes maximising sun exposure enables these vines to naturally produce lower crops, which gives us an intense array of flavours and wonderful balance.
